Immeasurably Dreary is directly inspired from the writings of J.R.R.Tolkien of which many find similar interest. Most interesting in his Œuvre is the specific curse and incantation from the Barrow-Downs rewritten above; this selection also forms the nexus of the blackened folk drone, Heartless and Miserable, which was written as homage to Les Joyaux De La Princesse’s ‘Bei Einbrechen der Nacht’ from their debut 7” ‘L' Allemangne Annee Zero’
lyrics
Immeasurably Dreary
Out of the formless stream
of sad horrible sounds,
Heartless and miserable.
The night was railing against
the morning of which it was bereaved.
The cold cursed the warmth
for which it hungered.
Chilled to the marrow.
Dread heart incantation.
Cold be hand, heart and bone.
Cold be sleep under stone.
Nevermore to wake on stony bed.
Never, till the sun fails and moon is dead.
In the black wind the stars shall die,
Over dead sea and withered land lie.
Dead in stone.
Withered in blackened barrow.

This is a really nice piece of black metal, i totally love it! Although nothing avantgarde, it has some unique flava' of its own. I mean, it's on repeat for a few hours now. \m/ BVCVLEI

This is what you get buying the label's discography, you don't know what treasures you get :) Love Lunatii for their Diskonformism of 2020 for its pure unadulterated madness, this here is no worse (differently though, which is for good). YomaBarr
